The tornado struck Moore, OK on Monday, May 20, 2013. I was at work, in Moore, but not directly in the damage path. However, due to flash flooding today, electricity likely won’t be restored to my employer this week. I don’t have enough comp days available so I guess I should call FEMA. Yuck.

GMA’s Stephanopoulos Presses Yahoo, Tumblr CEOs On Past Failures, Obstacles Facing ‘Perfect’ Partnership | Mediaite
The big news story in the tech world this week was Yahoo’s announcing the purchase of blogging/social media site Tumblr for $1.1 billion. CEOs Marissa Mayer and David Karp, of Yahoo and Tumblr respectively, appeared on Good Morning America on Tuesday to explain how they plan to join forces while also allowing Tumblr to maintain its identity.
Most importantly of all: Mr. Karp is NOT A HIPSTER. Whew.
